Austin, Texas, March 11th, 2016 - For the fourth year in a row, Chelsea director David Gordon Green is set to premier a new project at SXSW this week. The long awaited HBO comedy series Vice Principals,will make its debut at the head of the festival on Friday, March 11th.

David Gordon Green reconnected with fellow creators (not to mention college dorm-mates) Danny McBride and Jody Hill from his hit HBO comedy Eastbound & Down, to put the new series into action. The show stars McBride and Walton Goggins as two bumbling High School administrators striving to serve 'the greater good' , or so they think.

The filmmakers decided to shoot the first two seasons of the series in one go, in order to "get it all out in one creative outburst," says Green in a sit down with Indiewire.

The first season of Vice Principals is set to premiere in July.
