Six of the industry's top documentarians sat down with The Hollywood Reporter on October 29th for a round table discussion on the place of truth within the genre. Alex Gibney along with fellow Academy Award winner Michael Moore, spoke with Amy Berg, Kirby Dick, Liz Garbus and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi. The filmmakers covered topics ranging from death threats and attacks to the important, yet symbiotic, relationship between truth and reality. 

"It's a funny thing that sometimes happens when you're outspoken and very public about it: It gives you a peculiar kind of protection." Gibney contributes while discussing personal safety as a documentary filmmaker.
